Cave Without a Name

A living limestone cavern northeast of Boerne — six rooms of flowstone, soda straws and rimstone pools, still slowly growing. A child named it in a contest by calling it too beautiful for a name, and it stuck. Guided tours wind down a flight of steps off Kreutzberg Road through rooms kept cool and steady year-round. The main room's acoustics are unusual enough that the cave hosts live music underground.
