Mission Valley Historical Marker and Hondo City Park Complex
A municipal recreation cluster where the Mission Valley marker records a post-emancipation Black farming community displaced when land was taken for the wartime airfield. City Parks One, Two, and Three and the nature-trail area provide the present public setting.

Use the signed municipal park entrances and parking at FM 462 and Castro Avenue. Follow posted park rules; reservations or fees may apply to events and exclusive facility use. Do not treat nearby former settlement land as publicly accessible.
