Medina County Museum

A county-history museum housed in Hondo’s former Southern Pacific depot. The grounds bring together the 1893 depot, a caboose, a one-room schoolhouse, farm equipment, and a 1913 steam engine formerly used at the D’Hanis brick plant.

Before you go

The museum is open Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sunday from 1-3 p.m. Private tours can be arranged; ordinary weekend entry is walk-in.
