Hondo Army Air Field Historical Markers
Two markers outside the municipal airport terminal interpret the site’s World War II navigation school and its later training roles. The active general-aviation airport occupies part of the former Hondo Army Air Field.
Before you go
Park in the public terminal lot and remain on the walkway and public terminal side of the facility. Do not enter runways, aprons, hangars, businesses, or other aviation operations areas.
