Hondo “God’s Country” Welcome Signs
Paired welcome signs on Hondo’s east and west U.S. 90 approaches carrying the city’s long-used “God’s Country” driving message. The present installations were rebuilt on landscaped stone pads with seating after highway widening.
Before you go
The coordinate points to the east installation. Use a lawful off-highway parking space and the constructed walkway where available; never stop on U.S. 90, block a shoulder, or cross live traffic lanes to reach either sign.
