RM 187 / Sabinal Canyon Scenic Drive
RM 187 runs north from Sabinal through Utopia to Vanderpool. TxDOT's Texas Travel Map carries the route through the Hill Country between those towns, and Texas Parks and Wildlife describes the same road running north from Sabinal to Utopia. It is the address road for Lost Maples State Natural Area, at 37221 FM 187 in Vanderpool, where the state park map labels RM 187 at the entrance and a road on toward Vanderpool. This is a driving route, not river access.
