Devil's Waterhole

Located at the northern end of Inks Lake State Park, this distinct geological feature is defined by steep, pink gneiss and granite outcroppings that plunge into the constant-level waters of Inks Lake. Visitors reach the area via a short, scenic trail that winds through the rocky landscape. The deep water and surrounding rock formations create a dramatic setting for swimming, paddling, and photography. The area is particularly popular during the warmer months when the cool water provides relief from the Texas heat.
