Historic Hye Post Office and Rebecca Caroline

This 1904 landmark building remains Hye’s post office. Its documented history includes the former general store, the in-situ state marker, Lyndon B. Johnson’s childhood postal connection, and a 1965 cabinet swearing-in ceremony; the current tasting-room tenant is managed separately as advertiser inventory.

Before you go

Tasting room open Thursday through Saturday 11 AM to 6 PM and Sunday noon to 5 PM. Postal services available at separate entrance weekdays 8 AM to 10 AM and Saturday 8 AM to noon.
