Hamilton Pool Preserve
Located in western Travis County, this preserve encompasses 232 acres of natural habitat surrounding a jade-green pool. A 50-foot waterfall spills over limestone outcroppings, creating a distinct microclimate that supports diverse plant life, including the rare canyon mock-orange. The quarter-mile trail from the parking lot descends steeply into the canyon, requiring sturdy footwear to navigate the uneven, rocky terrain.
