Reimers Observatory offers a rare opportunity to explore the cosmos without traveling far from the city. Located within Milton Reimers Ranch Park, the facility hosts about 100 public programs each year. Astronomy educators guide visitors through the night sky, using laser pointers to highlight constellations and sharing the science and lore behind the stars. The observatory features a roll-away roof, allowing guests to observe the heavens from inside the building using impressive 25-inch and 15-inch telescopes.
