Center Point Cemetery Historical Marker

Established in 1872 on land purchased for a church and cemetery, the Center Point Cemetery has grown to 5.3 acres over the decades. The site holds approximately 1,452 graves, with the oldest marked burial dating back to 1875. The cemetery is deeply connected to the early settlement of the area, originally named Zanzenberg by Dr. Charles Ganahl before becoming Center Point.
