LanTex Theater
Opening its doors on May 19, 1927, the LanTex Theater was originally celebrated as the "House of Comfort all Year" due to its early evaporative cooling system. Built by S. D. Rainer and George Shaw, the venue debuted with a screening of "The Fourth Commandment." Over the decades, it has served as a central gathering place for the community, hosting everything from World War II bond drives to school concerts and town hall meetings.
