Kimble County Historical Museum

The Kimble County Historical Museum opened its current home on March 23, 2019. Its interpretive wing runs from prehistoric times to the present, with an area on the Hispanic history of the county, a room for a large arrowhead collection, early ranching and farming equipment, medical instruments, sports trophies and military memorabilia. It also has a genealogy center and a room honoring Coke R. Stevenson, the former Kimble County attorney who was governor of Texas from 1941 to 1947.
