Wes Cooksey Park provides managed access to the Nueces River and the impounded Lake Nueces section from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.; its office operates 8 a.m.-6 p.m. The park charges day-use admission. Facilities associated with that park should not be assumed elsewhere along the lake or river.
