Show Cave · near Boerne

A cave too pretty
to name.

A living limestone cavern northeast of Boerne — six rooms of flowstone, soda straws, and rimstone pools. A child named it in a contest by calling it too beautiful for a name, and it stuck.

About Cave Without a Name

Underground, and worth the stairs down.

Down a flight of steps off Kreutzberg Road, Cave Without a Name opens into a series of decorated rooms still slowly growing — formations the guides will name for you on the walk through. The acoustics are good enough that they hold concerts down there.

💎

Six rooms

Guided tours wind through six rooms of flowstone, draperies, and pools, kept cool and steady year-round. Bring a light jacket.

🎵

Concerts underground

The main room’s acoustics are unusual enough that the cave hosts live music down in the dark — a Hill Country oddity worth catching.
